This is a busy week

The week after Homecoming can always be an unpredictable week. This week many students are spending most of their time catching up in certain classes. However, in one of my favorite classes, chemistry, we have spent most of our time learning about electron orbitals in atoms. Another enjoyable class is English 10, taught by Ms. Patton. In this class we have been learning about the different forms of poetry and how to analyze each of them.

The students are also excited about the basketball games that occur each week. At these games, the crowd is almost always involved and many of the games have special themed nights for which the students may dress. The crowd, cheerleaders, and band cheer on and encourage the players during each of the games.

While everyone enjoys their time at school, many are looking forward to the half day break for parent/teacher conferences this Thursday and the student holiday for the faculty in-service on Friday.
