First Week Back from Christmas Break

Well the students of SBEC are back from Christmas break, which can be just as stressful as exam week. Let’s be honest, I don't believe most of us were studying math or history over our break, so getting back into our regular routine can be tough. I know it is for me; I almost forgot about this blog post.

But it's still good to be back at school and to be with friends we didn't see over the holidays. Frankly, it may be good for us to wake up before noon for a change.

However, the daily school assignments just seem to pile up and we may feel overwhelmed during this first week back. Further, with extracurricular activities like basketball or the spring play, the feeling could intensify. What I have learned about dealing with this kind of pressure is just to take a deep breath. You should try it; it feels good. Just breathe and realize you'll get back in gear. If that doesn't help, here's a quote from this book I've been reading. It states, "Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself." (Matthew 6:34 NIV) The author is amazing, let me tell you…
