As a senior this year
at SBEC, it is hard to believe we have just a few short months until
graduation! One of the last big celebrations we will experience is basketball
homecoming week which begins next Tuesday.
Tuesday
is “Senior Dress up Day,” a day set aside for the senior class to show their
unity. This is followed by “Pajama Day” on Wednesday (this makes it really hard to stay awake in class!). Thursday
is “Holiday Day,” where everyone can dress up as Easter bunnies, valentines,
Christmas trees, or even as a Thanksgiving turkey! Finally, Friday is “School Spirit
Wear Day” which will end with games (you better watch, Mrs. J!) and a pep-rally as
we cheer our basketball team on to victory! The Basketball Homecoming game is
Friday night and the Homecoming Queen will be announced during half-time.
I
hope everyone participates in all the fun during homecoming week, and I pray
that all we do will honor the Lord (Colossians 3:17). Go Trojans!
