This past week has been an extra blessing to all the students at SBEC. I know I enjoyed getting out of school early on Monday because of the weather conditions. And instead of a snow day, we got an "ice day" on Tuesday. It's definitely not as much fun since there is no snow to play in, but I'm sure everyone enjoyed the break from school.
The students in the drama department have been equally excited and busy with all of our practices for Singin' in the Rain, the school’s spring musical. We have been tapping our feet off, learning the choreography for many songs. We also have a couple of new spotlights and were able to start constructing the set this past weekend. It's going to be a spectacular show!
Because this is Basketball Homecoming Week, we will have so much fun and get to dress up each day. I'm especially excited about wearing some comfy pajamas to school.
