This
is a very busy week at SBEC. On Tuesday we had the ExploreZone, which is like a
giant science fair put on by the senior high science students to interest the
elementary kids in the study of science. It was a great success and so much fun!
In my English class, we are reading Julius
Caesar. It's challenging, but exciting! The band members left on Wednesday for
Ohio on their annual trip. While on the trip, the band members will watch the Percussion
Ensemble compete at the WGI World Championships in Dayton,
Ohio. Also during this week, the high school clubs met for the last time this year.
I am a member of the Girls with Gratitude club, through which we
choose a faculty member each meeting and buy them a gift card and write them an
encouraging note. I have really loved being a part of this amazing club and hope
to be a part of it next year. Even the elementary students have been busy with
the Boosterthon Fun Run on Thursday. High school student ambassadors helped
cheer on the elementary students as they ran laps around a track. Although
everyone is excited about the last events of the school year, I am sure we are
all going to finish this year strong!
