This week
is a very busy week at SBEC! One of the main events this week is our spring
musical, Singin' in the Rain. I am
the student director of this production and so excited to see the response from
the other students, parents, and teachers about the show. So far, we have
received great reviews from most everyone. We have been rehearsing this
play for about three months. I am very grateful for the theatre program at SBEC
because it allows me to spend time with my friends and get to know people who
may not have been my friend otherwise.
There are
more ways to be involved with SBEC other than the theatre program. You can be
involved in sports such as basketball. Our varsity girls basketball team is
playing in a state semi-final game this Friday! I am so impressed with how hard
those girls have worked for this opportunity. To support the team, the
administration rented a charter bus to take students to Nashville, TN for the
game. I am thankful for a school that supports our students and recognizes our
accomplishments.
